Isaac Moffitt Family

Isaac Moffit born September 4, 1739 in Killingly, Windham, CT as the son of Enoch Moffitt Sr. and his first wife, Sarah Learned (or Larned) on September 28, 1761. She was the daughter of Captain John Larned who was in 1766 of South Gore and his wife, Hephsibah Smith. She and Isaac later settled on a part of her father's farm in the west part of Oxford, living for a number of years in the cleft of a rock roofed in and later built a house near the rock, afterward owned by Jesse Bigelow. Isaac died August 26, 1812 at age 72 and Sarah died September 23, 1822 at age 84. Their children:
